I graduated from Malaspina University-College's Graphic Design program in 1996. For 11 years, from 2000–2011, I was Senior Designer with IdeaZone.ca, a position in which I developed both print and web projects for local companies, using the Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress. As an active member of the Victoria Social Media community for the past four years, I am an avid Twitter user, and I have helped organize five WordCamps and four Social Media Camps in Victoria.
