As an active member of the Victoria Social Media community for the past four years, I am an avid Twitter user, and I have helped co-present five WordCamps and four Social Media Camps in Victoria. I also have 17 years experience in the graphic design industry, using the Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress to develop print and web-based designs.
I am editor of several sites, including the Foodie.ca blog which has 25 authors from across Canada writing for it. It’s my job to promote Foodie.ca through Twitter, Facebook, and other social channels, and liaise with the bloggers.
I am also City Manager for City Mom Now Victoria, a “a network of hyper-local online magazines for discerning urbanite moms who love exploring their cities,” for which I write articles, recruit contributors, and connect with the local parents on Twitter, and Facebook.
